I have a ton more but my fingers are tired.
My son goes to one of the convience stores in our town, which has probably has 20 different fountain sodas & mixes several different ones together. I haven’t always liked the results, but he has. Don’t be afraid to experiment. You never know what you or someone else might like.
That’s great that he enjoys mixing flavors. There has to be a Ben and Jerry of soda mixes out there!
I remember having grape soda when I was young, and loved it, another great flavor could be watermelon soda.
Yum, I love grape soda. Watermelon soda would also be great, especially if it was only slightly sweetened, making it much more refreshing.
Grape soda is delicious!! Also orange-tangerine, pineapple, apple. I really like your blog. I love soda but haven’t had one for over a year now ๐ฆ too much sugar and/or fake sugar do not agree with me.
Good ideas!
If you make your own soda you can get rid of most of the sugar and chemicals you don’t like.
I use carbonated water and vanilla with a little honey for a great cream soda.
Do you have recipes for these or planning on making them ๐ I remember when they mountain dew voltage came out mix that and pepsi and its pretty good ๐ Have you seen MD voltage anywhere was wondering if they make it any more! the flavors you came up with sound awesome ๐
I do remember it. I haven’t seen it anywhere. The great thing about the Soda Stream is that you can take any flavor cool aid and create a soda. Make a syrup with sugar a little bit of water and the cool aid. It’s all to taste so you can experiment.

I’ve made a few homemade sodas just by using cool aid and simple syrup as well as using fruit juice, sugar or honey and sparkling soda. You should just jump in and try. The easiest way is finding a flavor you like and then get a few bottles of cheap sparkling water, usually about 99 cents for a litre. I think I’m actually more addicted to the bubbles then any thing else about the soda.
